His Excellency Abdulrahman Al Mutairi, Kuwait’s Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, today inaugurated the temporary press center and media exhibition accompanying the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit at the Media Center in Kuwait. This initiative is part of Kuwait’s comprehensive preparations for hosting the 45th GCC Summit. The event highlights Kuwait’s commitment to fostering unity and collaboration among Gulf nations.
The press center serves as a hub for media professionals, equipped with cutting-edge technology to ensure comprehensive coverage of the summit’s activities. The exhibition showcases the cultural, economic, and political achievements of GCC countries, emphasizing their shared identity and the progress made through regional cooperation.
The opening ceremony was attended by senior officials, including Dr. Nora Al-Mashaan, Minister of Public Works and chairperson of the summit’s organizing committee, and Jasem Al-Budaiwi, GCC Secretary General. The event reflects Kuwait’s leadership in promoting integration across political, media, economic, and security domains among member states.
Following the inauguration, His Excellency hosted a lunch gathering to strengthen ties with attending dignitaries, further underscoring Kuwait’s role in enhancing Gulf unity. As part of the media campaign, welcoming messages and the official logo, “GCC45,” have been prominently displayed across the country, from highways to digital billboards, reflecting the enthusiasm for this landmark summit
Additionally, the media exhibition features diverse activities, including photographic displays, workshops, and lectures on regional topics like economic integration, cybersecurity, and the Gulf Common Market. These events aim to create a platform for dialogue and showcase the collective achievements of GCC nations
