Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav attended a Roza Iftar gathering in Mumbai on March 15 at the invitation of Maharashtra Samajwadi Party President Abu Asim Azmi. The event brought together party leaders, social figures, and members of the community in a spirit of unity and goodwill during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Iftar gathering served as an occasion not only to break the day-long fast but also to strengthen bonds among people from different walks of life. Akhilesh Yadav interacted with local party workers and supporters, appreciating their efforts in promoting harmony and social cooperation.

While speaking to Arabian Times, Akhilesh Yadav highlighted the importance of communal harmony and mutual respect in a diverse country like India. He emphasized that festivals and religious gatherings serve as valuable occasions for people from different communities to come together, strengthen social bonds, and reaffirm the shared values of brotherhood, unity, and understanding.
Host Abu Asim Azmi welcomed the Samajwadi Party chief warmly and expressed gratitude for his presence. He said that such gatherings help build stronger connections between leadership and grassroots workers while also reflecting the inclusive spirit of the party. The evening concluded with prayers, discussions, and a shared Iftar meal, symbolizing unity, compassion, and togetherness among the attendees.
