Alcatel, the French mobile technology brand with over a century of telecommunications heritage, has officially launched its V3 Series smartphones in the UAE, introducing what it describes as the industry’s first patented NXTPAPER 4-in-1 display technology to the mid-range segment. The launch event, held in Dubai on February 4, unveiled three new 5G devices, V3 Ultra 5G, V3 Pro 5G and V3 Classic 5G, aimed at consumers seeking premium features at accessible price points. According to the company, the V3 Series is designed specifically for high-usage markets such as the UAE, where long screen hours and outdoor visibility remain key consumer concerns.

“Dubai is a cornerstone of our global strategy,” said Atul Vivek, CEO of NXTCELL, Alcatel’s regional partner. “While smartphone penetration in the UAE is among the highest globally, there is still a clear opportunity for innovation-led devices that remain affordable. With the V3 Series, we are bringing genuine French engineering and breakthrough display technology to a segment that has long been underserved.”

The defining feature of the new lineup is Alcatel’s NXTPAPER display, which combines anti-glare technology, low blue-light emission and multiple viewing modes designed to reduce eye strain while improving battery efficiency. Ansh Rathi, COO of NXTCELL, said the product was developed with regional usage patterns in mind. Consumers in the UAE spend several hours a day on their smartphones, often under harsh sunlight conditions. NXTPAPER directly addresses these realities by improving outdoor readability and reducing visual fatigue. This is not just a display enhancement — it’s a lifestyle solution,” he said.

The UAE launch is part of Alcatel’s broader expansion strategy across the GCC, supported by local distribution and retail partnerships. Tameem Ahmed Siddique, Founder and CEO of iMart Group and Worldwide IT, GCC partner for the brand, said the collaboration brings together heritage, innovation and market reach. “Alcatel’s legacy of over 100 years, combined with its focus on practical innovation, makes the V3 Series highly relevant for today’s consumers. With a three-tier product strategy and strong retail penetration, we see significant growth potential in the UAE market,” he said.

The Alcatel V3 Series is now available across the UAE at the following prices:

            •           V3 Classic 5G: AED 410

            •           V3 Pro 5G: AED 625

            •           V3 Ultra 5G: AED 795
