Kuwait’s Ambassador to India, Meshal Mustafa Al Shamali, recently highlighted the compassion and generosity of Kuwaiti society during a charity bazaar held in New Delhi. Organized by the Delhi Commonwealth Women’s Association, this annual event aims to support women-centric charitable initiatives. It was conducted in collaboration with diplomatic missions accredited to India and under the guidance of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.
The Kuwaiti Embassy made a remarkable contribution to the event with an impressive pavilion that showcased the nation’s rich culture. The display included traditional Kuwaiti food, sweets, perfumes, and food supplies, alongside vibrant folk costumes that reflected Kuwait’s heritage. Visitors to the pavilion experienced a blend of culture and hospitality that left a lasting impression.
Ambassador Al Shamali explained that the proceeds from the bazaar would be used to support various charitable causes. These include providing assistance to underprivileged families, supporting orphanages, supplying school essentials to children, and contributing to medical treatment for those in need.
