Dr. Rao’s pursuit of knowledge took him to the prestigious International Centre for Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology in Trieste, Italy, and New Delhi, where he completed his Ph.D. through an international exchange program with Dr. PDKV Akola. To complement his scientific expertise, Dr. Rao pursued an MBA, equipping him with the business acumen necessary to navigate the complexities of global markets.
From 1993 to 2008, dedicated himself to academia, research, and administration. Over these 15 years, he earned a reputation for exceptional project and human resource management. He spearheaded multiple research initiatives, mentored project managers, and fostered international collaborations, leaving an indelible mark on the scientific community. In 2008, Dr. Rao transitioned into entrepreneurship, leveraging his expertise to lead ventures across Hong Kong, Mauritius, Belarus, the UAE, and India.
As Director, CEO, and shareholder, he founded and scaled companies such as Innovative Trades Limited, Arreda Homes, Ethos Ventures, Arreda Technologies, Costra Industries, and Goldvalue Homes. These enterprises span diverse sectors, including international trade, construction technologies, real estate, food processing, and advanced manufacturing. His ability to manage OEM units in China, Dubai, Mauritius, and Hong Kong, while forging robust banking and trade relationships with global financial institutions, underscores his strategic foresight and operational excellence.
A pivotal aspect of Dr. Rao’s career is his association with Emmedue M2 S.p.A., Italy, a leader in EPS panel-based rapid construction technology. As the exclusive representative for the Asian subcontinent, he has overseen the installation and commissioning of over 40 Emmedue plants across China, South Africa, India, the UAE, and other regions. Under his leadership, more than 10 million square meters of construction have been completed globally, revolutionizing affordable, sustainable, and rapid housing solutions.
This technology has not only accelerated construction timelines but also prioritized environmental sustainability, aligning with Dr. Rao’s vision of impactful innovation. His expertise extends beyond execution to strategic consultancy. He has advised companies in Minsk, Estonia, Milan, and Latvia, helping them establish state-of-the-art manufacturing units for rapid construction and interior furnishing.

Presently, Dr. Rao is spearheading a monumental social housing project in Mauritius, overseeing the development of 12,000 housing units for the Government of Mauritius.
