His efforts have not only modernized the event but also elevated it to a global spectacle, showcasing India’s cultural and spiritual richness.
One of the cornerstones of Yogi Adityanath’s efforts was a comprehensive overhaul of infrastructure in Prayagraj, the host city. Recognizing the importance of connectivity, his government invested heavily in widening roads, building new flyovers, and creating alternative routes to manage the immense influx of pilgrims. Temporary pontoon bridges over the Ganga and Yamuna rivers were constructed to facilitate smooth movement across the sprawling Mela area.

A dedicated Kumbh Mela mobile app was introduced, providing essential information, event schedules, and real-time navigation assistance to pilgrims. For the first time, an online registration system was implemented to streamline attendance and minimize chaos.
