Oman Airports has officially launched its Intelligent Campus Showcase at Muscat International Airport in collaboration with global technology leader Huawei, marking a milestone in the digital transformation of Oman’s aviation sector. This forward-looking initiative reflects a strong strategic commitment to creating more intelligent, efficient, and digitally connected airports that align with future transportation demands.
The partnership highlights Oman Airports’ continued investment in smart infrastructure and sustainable technologies, reinforcing the Sultanate’s position as an emerging hub for aviation innovation in the region. By integrating advanced digital solutions, the initiative aims to enhance airport operations, ensure greater safety and security, and provide passengers with a seamless and efficient travel experience.
With over 40,000 passengers passing through Muscat International Airport daily, the newly implemented technologies promise reliable, high-speed connectivity throughout the terminal, including waiting areas, boarding gates, and check-in counters. In addition, the Intelligent Campus will employ advanced surveillance systems and real-time data analytics, enabling improved decision-making and proactive management of airport operations.
