A devastating tragedy unfolded in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, when a fire broke out at a coaching centre, resulting in the death of several children and leaving many others critically injured. The incident has triggered widespread outrage and grief, highlighting grave concerns over safety negligence and the lack of proper regulations in private educational institutes.
Leaders and workers of the Samajwadi Party (SP) visited Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital to meet the injured children and express condolences to the families of the deceased. They offered moral support and promised to raise the issue at all levels to ensure that justice is delivered swiftly. Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav strongly condemned and criticized the incident, calling it a result of the government’s negligence and failure to enforce safety norms.

Yadav said that the lives of innocent children were lost due to the administration’s carelessness and demanded that the culprits be brought to justice without delay. He also demanded that the Uttar Pradesh Government provide ₹2 crore in financial assistance to each family of the deceased children and ₹5 lakh to the injured victims. He urged the authorities to conduct a fair, transparent, and time-bound investigation so that those responsible for this tragedy are given the strictest punishment.
The incident has reignited public anger and calls for strict safety checks in all coaching centres across the state. Locals and parents have urged the government to take immediate preventive measures to avoid such heartbreaking events in the future. The Samajwadi Party has assured continued support to the affected families, vowing to stand by them until justice is served and accountability is fixed at every responsible level.
