On the blessed occasion of Eid-al-Adha, Arabian Times Social Welfare Trust (ATSWT) brought smiles to the faces of 100 underprivileged Muslim families by distributing relief packets filled with Eid Festival Kits. This small yet impactful programme was specially organized in the Muslim-dominated locality of Amethia Saleempur, Kakori, where the need is truly heartfelt.

Each packet was carefully curated to include traditional Eid essentials: 1 kg of sugar, 1 litre of Rooh Afza, 1 kg of raw sewain, 1 kg of clarified butter (ghee), 500 gm of cicer arietinum (chickpeas), and 500 gm of gram flour, ingredients that bring the festive spirit alive in every household.
Unlike the well-planned Ramadaan Kits distribution, which is organized three months in advance after thorough surveys and identification of Below Poverty Line (BPL) families, this Eid-al-Adha programme was conducted without prior scheduling. Still, the dedication of the team ensured that only the most deserving families received the aid. The team worked diligently, relying on their previous field experience and community knowledge to identify the most needy, especially women, who are often the primary caretakers of their families.

Since its initiation in 2023, the Arabian Times’ Ramadaan Kits distribution has become a symbol of hope and compassion in the underprivileged Muslim communities of Lucknow. Over the past three years, their consistent efforts have earned them trust, love, and recognition among the local population.
This year’s Eid al-Adha programme is yet another shining example of how ATSWT continues to serve humanity with sincerity and love. Their noble gesture reflects the true spirit of Eid—sharing, caring, and uplifting the less fortunate. With such efforts, Arabian Times Social Welfare Trust not only provides material support but also spreads the beautiful message of unity, kindness, and faith during these sacred moments of celebration.
