Senior journalist of Lucknow and casual news editor of Doordarshan Lucknow and Akashvani Lucknow, Mohd. Shahid Khan, was honored with an honorary doctorate on August 4th. The prestigious award was presented during a grand ceremony organized at the ‘College of Animation Bioengineering and Research Centre’ on Mardi Road, Amravati, Maharashtra, affiliated with Amravati University. Ten distinguished personalities from across India were honored at the event, including Shahid Khan, who was recognized for his outstanding contributions to media and human service.
The event was graced by prominent figures, including Professor Dr. Abdul Aqeel of the World International Foundation, President of RMM S India, Chancellor of Uganda GM, Vice Chancellor of Harvest MIU America, Special Guest Vijay Raut, Director of Animation College Amravati, Dr. Mohammad Jilani, Civil Surgeon of Government Hospital Nanded, and Dr. BG Khoparade, Joint Director of Higher Education Amravati. Shahid Khan received the honorary doctorate from Bishop Victor Onofua University, Nigeria, in recognition of his commendable service in the media industry. Following the ceremony, Khan was warmly congratulated by his friends, relatives, and notable figures from the political, social, and educational sectors.
