LUCKNOW, October 18: Glorious Life Foundation organised a free medical camp at Dargah Hazrat Abbas, Rustam Nagar, Lucknow, on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 4 pm to 6 pm, to provide accessible healthcare services and medical consultations to local residents. The camp brought together medical professionals specialising in orthopaedics, paediatrics, general medicine and physiotherapy. The initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare, encourage early detection of common health problems and provide medical guidance to people who might otherwise face difficulties accessing healthcare services.

Dr. Muzaffar Mujahid, an orthopaedic specialist holding an MBBS from King George’s Medical University (KGMU) and a DNB in Orthopaedics, provided consultations for bone, joint and musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. Mohd Mahdi, Director of Lotus Hospital and Paediatric Centre, offered specialised guidance on children’s healthcare. The medical team also included Dr. Ainul Hasan, consultant physician; Dr. Nabeel, medical consultant; and Dr. Ershad Ahmad, physiotherapist. Their participation enabled visitors to seek medical advice on general health concerns, paediatric conditions, physical rehabilitation and mobility-related problems.

The camp offered several services, including free health check-ups, orthopaedic and joint care consultations, paediatric healthcare advice, physiotherapy sessions, and blood pressure and blood sugar screening. These services were aimed at helping people identify potential health concerns at an early stage and understand the importance of timely medical attention. By organising the camp at Dargah Hazrat Abbas in Rustam Nagar, Lucknow, Glorious Life Foundation brought medical consultation services closer to the local community. The initiative highlighted the importance of community-based healthcare and the contribution social organisations can make towards improving public health.

The camp also provided an opportunity for residents to consult qualified medical professionals and receive guidance on managing common health conditions. Such initiatives are particularly valuable for children, older people and individuals requiring orthopaedic care or physiotherapy. Glorious Life Foundation’s initiative underscored the importance of accessible healthcare, preventive screening and community participation in promoting public well-being. The programme reflected the vital role of voluntary organisations in extending healthcare support beyond conventional medical facilities.
