The Sultanate of Oman has warmly welcomed the appointment of Ali Al-Zaidi as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, along with the formation of the country’s new government. In an official statement released by Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the leadership expressed its sincere congratulations and extended best wishes to Prime Minister Al-Zaidi in fulfilling his national responsibilities.

Oman voiced its confidence that the new Iraqi government will work toward meeting the aspirations of the Iraqi people, particularly in achieving stability, development, and prosperity. The statement highlighted the importance of strong leadership during this critical phase, emphasizing the need for unity and progress in Iraq’s political and economic landscape.

Reaffirming its longstanding ties with Iraq, the Sultanate of Oman also underlined its commitment to enhancing bilateral relations across various sectors. These include economic cooperation, trade, investment, and cultural exchange, all aimed at advancing mutual interests and regional stability. Oman’s message reflects its broader diplomatic approach of fostering constructive partnerships and supporting efforts that contribute to peace and development in the region.
