Dharam Gupta’s career is a testament to his relentless pursuit of excellence in the entertainment industry. Starting out as a production manager, he worked on popular television shows like Sajan Re Jhut Mat Bolo, Papad Pol, Baalveer, Golmaal, and Comedy Circus. His expertise in managing large-scale productions soon earned him a reputation as a talented organizer and leader behind the scenes.

His big break came when he was appointed as the head of the project for Saavdhan India, a crime show on Life OK that highlighted real-life incidents, capturing the nation’s attention with its gripping storytelling. Dharam’s ability to handle the complexities of production, along with his strong leadership skills, quickly positioned him as a vital force in the industry. He also took on the role of business head for various other popular shows, further cementing his status in Indian television.

In 2017, Dharam took a bold step forward by founding his own production house, Water Drop Entertainment & Media Pvt. Ltd. His vision for this venture was clear: to create content that would not only entertain but provoke thought and bring about meaningful change in society. Water Drop Entertainment made waves with the production of Crime Alert, a popular crime show aired on the Dangal television channel. His commitment to innovation saw him become the first producer to shoot an episode of Crime Alert abroad, in Russia, setting new benchmarks for the show’s production quality.

The success of Crime Alert propelled Water Drop Entertainment to greater heights, and by 2019, the company had two more shows in the pipeline, aimed at the General Entertainment Channel (GEC) space. Dharam’s vision of creating impactful, story-driven content resonated with audiences across India.

Not one to rest on his laurels, Dharam took another leap in his career by launching Rapchee Originals Media Pvt. Ltd., a cutting-edge OTT platform. Rapchee aims to break the mold of conventional media by focusing on the strength of its content, rather than relying on big names or star power. The platform was designed to empower creators production houses and individuals alike who have great stories to tell but lack the platform to showcase them.

With Rapchee, Dharam Gupta envisions a future where content reigns supreme, free from the constraints of big budgets or celebrity endorsements. His career, marked by constant innovation and a commitment to elevating the quality of Indian entertainment, continues to inspire many in the industry. And also honoured as Most inspiring entrepreneur at world best brand & business award  Dubai 2024
