Under the dynamic leadership of Vijay Kiran Anand, CEO, UPISIDA, Labour Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pomp at the industrial areas of Sarojini Nagar and Amausi in Lucknow. The event was organized by Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority in collaboration with members of various industrial associations, marking a significant occasion to honor the contributions of workers.

The celebration highlighted the importance of recognizing the dedication and hard work of labourers who play a vital role in industrial growth. On this occasion, gifts were distributed among workers as a token of appreciation, reflecting gratitude for their relentless efforts. The initiative created a sense of belonging and motivation among the workforce.

Additionally, an awareness session on workplace safety was conducted to educate workers about essential precautions and safe practices. Emphasis was also laid on enrolling workers into Employees’ State Insurance Corporation schemes to ensure better protection and support for them and their families. Prominent officers of UPSIDA, Tousif Ali, Zaved and Aditya Mishra were present, adding to the grandeur of the occasion and reaffirming the organization’s commitment to workers’ welfare
