Samajwadi Party National President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that the language used by BJP leaders occupying top positions in both the government and the organization is highly offensive and unparliamentary. He alleged that neither the Chief Minister, his ministers, nor the BJP’s alliance partners have undertaken any significant development work during their nine years in office. Instead, they have focused on spreading discrimination and hatred.
Yadav stated that law and order has collapsed under the BJP government, with heinous murders occurring every day. Corruption, he said, has reached its peak, and every department is plagued by widespread irregularities. Police stations and tehsil offices, he alleged, have become centers of corruption. He further claimed that healthcare services have deteriorated, with patients in hospitals not receiving adequate medicines or treatment, and large-scale irregularities taking place in the procurement of medicines.
He also criticized the state’s power supply system, saying it has become dysfunctional. According to him, the BJP government has exploited the public by installing smart meters. He added that the education system is in poor condition, examinations are no longer transparent, and incidents of paper leaks have become common. He further pointed out that the government failed to conduct panchayat elections on time and that farmers’ incomes have not doubled as promised. According to Yadav, the BJP government has failed on every front.
Akhilesh Yadav further said that the Chief Minister and his ministers have no answers regarding public issues or the promises made by the BJP. He claimed that the BJP government is fearful of losing the 2027 Assembly elections and that the Chief Minister and his allies have resorted to undemocratic behavior and inappropriate language. He alleged that BJP leaders holding constitutional positions no longer respect the dignity of their offices and are instead working to undermine and insult those institutions.
Yadav said that the BJP has neither any meaningful work to show nor any vision for public welfare. He asserted that the people of Uttar Pradesh are closely observing the situation and will punish the BJP for its actions in the 2027 elections by voting it out of power and bringing an end to what he described as its arrogance.
