The DRC President extended his gratitude to Qatar for its role in supporting peace efforts in the region, particularly highlighting the Doha Framework Agreement for Peace between the DRC Government and the Congo River Alliance “March 23 Movement.” He described the agreement as a significant milestone that contributes to advancing reconciliation, restoring stability, and easing the humanitarian suffering of displaced communities. His Highness also expressed gratitude for the DRC’s confidence in Qatar’s mediation efforts, voicing hope that the peace agreement will successfully fulfill its objectives. He reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to supporting peace both regionally and globally. During the talks, both leaders reviewed areas of bilateral cooperation, focusing in particular on economic and investment partnerships. They also exchanged views on key regional and international issues.

The session was attended by senior officials from both sides, including HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Chief of the Amiri Diwan; HE Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and HE Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade.
