A Memorandum of Understanding on Direct Investment Promotion was signed between the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority and Switzerland Global Enterprise with the clear goal of strengthening bilateral relations and expanding the horizons of joint cooperation between Kuwait and Switzerland.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah and the President of the Swiss Confederation Guy Parmelin attended the signing ceremony on September 29th at the Lohn Castle in Bern Switzerland. The presence of the two high level leaders underscored the strategic importance both nations attach to deepening economic ties and creating a more favourable environment for cross border investment.
On the Kuwaiti side the agreement was signed by the Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority Sheikh Dr Meshaal Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah. Representing the Swiss side was Magalie Heraud Chief Investment Promotion Officer at Switzerland Global Enterprise. Their signatures formalised a shared vision focused on practical cooperation rather than mere statements of intent.
