Amid growing regional tensions and rapidly shifting security dynamics in the Middle East, Kuwait continues to reinforce its national security preparedness through heightened vigilance and strategic coordination. In this context, Kuwait National Guard Undersecretary Lieutenant General Hamad Al-Barjas has stressed the importance of maintaining the highest levels of readiness, operational efficiency and field coordination to safeguard the country’s stability and strategic interests. His remarks reflect Kuwait’s broader commitment to ensuring national security through proactive planning, rapid response mechanisms and continuous monitoring of developments across the region. According to a statement issued by the National Guard’s Guidance Directorate, Lieutenant General Al-Barjas conducted an inspection tour of several operational and security sites secured by National Guard task forces.
During the visit, he reviewed the preparedness of deployed personnel, assessed field operations and examined the implementation of security measures at vital locations across the country. Al-Barjas emphasized that maintaining constant preparedness and strengthening coordination among security units are essential to confronting emerging challenges effectively. He also underlined the importance of operational readiness and swift communication in preserving stability and ensuring the protection of key strategic facilities throughout Kuwait.
