Kuwait’s airspace continues to be secure, with no threats or risks detected in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Interior. Brigadier Nasser Bouslaib, Director General of the General Department of Security Relations and Media and spokesperson for the Interior Ministry, reassured citizens that security forces remain highly vigilant in safeguarding the nation’s security and stability.
“Security forces are working around the clock to protect Kuwait and its people,” Brigadier Bouslaib stated during the briefing. He revealed that the ministry’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams responded to six new reports of missile shrapnel remnants from earlier air defense operations. This brings the total number of such incidents handled since the beginning of the Iranian attacks on Kuwait to 827. The spokesperson emphasized that Kuwait’s armed forces are continuously monitoring regional developments to maintain maximum preparedness across all state institutions.
This proactive approach ensures the country is ready to respond effectively to any potential emergencies. Brigadier Bouslaib concluded his remarks by offering prayers for the continued safety and protection of Kuwait, its leadership, and its people from all forms of harm. The statement comes amid ongoing regional tensions, highlighting Kuwait’s commitment to maintaining calm and stability while staying alert to external threats.
Authorities have urged residents to remain cooperative with security instructions and to report any suspicious objects immediately to the relevant authorities. Kuwait’s consistent daily updates reflect the government’s transparency and dedication to public safety during challenging times. The country’s defense and security apparatus continue to demonstrate strong coordination in dealing with the aftermath of missile interceptions and ensuring national resilience.
