The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oman has confirmed that no party has claimed responsibility for the recent “treacherous and cowardly” attacks targeting the Oman, as authorities continue efforts to uncover the source and motives behind the incidents. In an official statement, the ministry said that competent security and investigative agencies are actively examining all aspects of the attacks, working to identify those responsible and determine the circumstances under which they were carried out.

The absence of any claim of responsibility has added to the complexity of the situation, raising concerns over potential hidden actors and broader regional implications. The Sultanate strongly condemned the attacks, describing them as acts that undermine stability and threaten the safety of civilians. Officials reiterated that such incidents are unacceptable and called for collective efforts to prevent further escalation.

At the same time, Oman reaffirmed its long-standing commitment to a policy of active neutrality, a cornerstone of its foreign policy. The ministry stressed that this approach is rooted in promoting peace, encouraging dialogue, and fostering stability across the region. Despite the challenges posed by the current situation, Oman remains dedicated to maintaining balanced relations and avoiding alignment with conflict-driven agendas.

The statement also highlighted Oman’s concern over the ongoing regional tensions and conflicts, emphasizing the urgent need to end violence and return to diplomatic solutions. Authorities called on all parties involved in regional disputes to prioritize negotiation and address the root causes of instability, rather than resorting to military actions. Reaffirming its role as a stabilizing force, Oman expressed its determination to safeguard national security while continuing to support efforts aimed at restoring peace and prosperity in the region.
